Lapland trip made possible after £151,000 Nottingham fundraiser

A Nottingham developer has exceeded its fundraising goal to help dozens of seriously ill children and their families experience the trip of a lifetime to Lapland. Arran Bailey, managing director of ALB Group, hosted a Night at the Fair charity ball at Goosedale in Papplewick on Saturday, October 11, raising £151,040 for the When You Wish Upon a Star Foundation. The total surpasses the £130,000 needed to charter a plane for 35 to 40 children and their families to visit Santa Claus later this year.
